I haven't been writing much lately. I've been very busy.

I want to write an open letter to the person that I've loved most....here it goes.

dear hotdog,

I want you to know that I'm doing fine. I hope you're doing okay as well. I just want to write you a letter to tell you how I feel right now.

I know you believe in soul mates. Admit it or not, you're the hopeless romantic type...just like me. Of all the people I've come across with, it was you out of a thousand billion. Ever felt that? We think a like in so many ways and even if you're far away, it feels like you were just near.

You've always given me that smile. Even though we were just talking, you were always reason enough for me to smile. Even though, we had our shares of troubles and pains, after all the years that I've known you, still, just thinking about you (your dimples, hahaha) makes my heart flutter.

Soul mates do not necessarily end up together. You know that right? I'm just happy that in this lifetime, I met someone like you. I'm already in that phase..the phase that I really feel lonely. I guess I can only hold on for so long...I don't want to reason out that I'm only human and that I'm prone to this, but I guess, this is my decision.

I'm trying to take things seriously. I feel that I'm old and I feel that my clock is ticking as a woman. I just want you to know that someone is taking care of me right now and it would be unfair if I don't take this seriously.

Of all the men that I've loved, I loved you the most and everyone knows that. I guess until now, you still have that special place in my heart that's why I'm having second thoughts on this relationship but since you've already let me go a long time ago, I guess, it's about time that I'd let go of you.

I want you to be happy Jay. I attest this to your next girlfriend, she'll be the luckiest girlfriend in the world because she'll have a wonderful boyfriend. Loving, faithful and charismatic. If I can just hug you right now, I would. I would've given you that big bear hug. hahaha :D and yeah, you guessed it, I am crying. LOL...

On Long Distance Relationships

I tried sending Jon a text message. Twice. I'm really not expecting a reply though. I think he's mad. LOL :D I know how to piss-off guys. And by piss-off, I mean, really get them extremely mad. I'm a blunt person. I often do not care what others think of. I mean, I'm very honest. I don't want to tell you something that's not true just because it'll hurt your feelings. I'm grounded to reality and I am very harsh.

Jon and I are both Virgos. I can read him. He's my boy version. The first time we met, it was pure insanity. We talked for like 9 hours straight and I kinda got tired talking to him because he was so talkative. I met him because I was looking for Teejay. To cut the long story short, Jon found me while I was looking for my ex. Hahahaha :))

You could have guessed it. If you're a follower, you should know that Jon is in the US Navy. He's Fil-Am though. Both his parents are Filipinos. Born and raised. Both his sisters grew-up here in the Philippines. He was born in San Diego. He doesn't know how to speak Tagalog. Well, he does know a few words but his Tagalog is lousy. LOL.

As for me, I think, Long Distance Relationships work. I've experienced it first hand and it's the most wonderful experience. Trust is essential to every kind of relationship but when you are in a Long Distance Relationship, it is the most crucial part because without it, it simply fails.

I told my friend, I think I'm not ready to be in a "normal" relationship (with normal meaning, close proximity). I just think that I am too jealous when the guy I'm dating is actually 'near'. I have a lot of issues and I just can't give my full trust.

Boys would be boys. They are promiscuous by nature but I don't think that's enough reason for guys to cheat. I had my reasons why I was lenient with my previous relationship. One, he was in the military, that's reason enough. Two, it's a long distance relationship. Three, the trust is there.

I don't want to disclose another one. I'm trying to compose my thoughts but we'll see. I just want to rant that I sent him a text message. Hahaha :)

I find the people in Facebook annoying. That's the main reason why I don't open it that much. People try to impress everyone else. Tipong pa-bonggahan eklavoo...Oh please. I don't need crap. People there are attention whores. Admit it. I am an attention whore but it gets tiring you know. Hahaha :) My life is nothing special. They find it amusing though that I have a ridiculous series of bad relationships. I wanted my friends to know what was happening but it came to a point that it became a circus. I guess that's why I learned to keep things from people. Too much information brings chaos. I'd rather keep my mouth shut. Hahaha :) People are so nosy. It annoys the hell out of me. At least, here, it's my own space. I can talk about anything and rant whatever and don't give a shit about anything :) Hahaha :P

And besides, I believe in traditional talking. Old-fashion way of communication through coffee is always the best way. Making my wall a chat room is really cheap. I realized that.

Make-up Review: L.A. Girls Pro Concealer

I ordered a lot of cosmetics from the States a few weeks ago and it arrived last Wednesday. I wanted to make a review of the make-ups I ordered specifically the ones that I love using.

I love the L.A. Girls Pro Concealer. I'm using the Natural shade. Remember, when picking up the right shade for your concealer, it has to be at least a tone or two tones lighter than your foundation since your putting it on the dark areas of your skin.

The fun side of this concealer is that it has a built-in applicator. I kinda got surprised when I saw the applicator inside. Hahaha :)

The good thing about this concealer is that it's not oily. The consistency of the concealer is important. Oily concealers usually doesn't last after you sweat. This one stays. It's also very cheap. You can buy this for only P250.

If you've tried using The Body Shop concealer, then this one is an alternative if you're on a budget. The major plus factor for this product is that it's in High Definition. Meaning, it gives your face that contoured look (makes your face look slim). Any cosmetic in HD gives you a contoured look. This is a definite must-have for me.

I emailed him and told him, I just want to share my blessings with the unfortunate kids who've been abandoned by their parents. Hypothetically speaking, if I were married right now, I'll adopt a child from the orphanage but I'm single. It's pretty hard to adopt a child if you're single. I mean like, raising a child is not as simple as raising a dog.

I placed the emphasis on HYPOTHETICAL because it might get him to think that I'm implying something. (I'm not!!!) I'm just clearing the air out cuz it might make him feel uncomfortable...hahahaha :))

Movie Review: Blue Valentine

Yesterday, I watched this movie called Blue Valentine. Oh My God….I cried. The movie is about a married couple. Their marriage is failing and through the movie, it goes through flashbacks when they were still in the courting stage. I cried when I saw Ryan Gosling cry. His character loved the character of Michelle Williams too much.

It’s a good movie and I recommend you watch it.

A lot of things has happened in a mere span of months. First quarter of this year was pretty slow. January to March was too slow for me. It was still a part of 2010. The life changing event happened in the last week of March - and then everything became a blur. It was like I was high on happy drugs.

Ever believe that you'll meet that one person who'll change your life forever? I think I did. I met him. He's not the knight in shining armor or the Mr. Perfect nor is he the Prince Charming in every girls fantasy. He's a real guy. His best asset is his sailor fatigue. I met that person who changed me.

He may not be perfect. He's an asshole in many ways. He broke my heart and made me cry but that's the beauty of it. Imperfections create the best mold for a solid foundation. I cannot believe it myself. I fell in love with him in such a small amount of time.

Forever is a cliche. I am not asking for forever. All of them left me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. He, on the other hand, never left me which made him different from everyone. He maybe an asshole but he never left me. Even if I kept pushing him away, he was stubborn enough to deal with me and that made me realize something. In the end, it's always the effort that counts. Whatever shortcomings he had in the past, with just a little effort to stay, it made everything okay.

So…I received an email from him, yesterday. I replied. Nothing much. His stories are the same. Ship-work-eat-work-gym-eat-sleep. How awesome his life is. Hahaha :)) I kinda pity him because I know he hates routines. We haven’t really talked about it. I’m giving him a chance though. We can always be friends. I’m here to support him if he needs emotional support or like a vent out person. That’s my job. woohoo. haha :))

I haven’t been as sweet as I was before. He should know his limits. When or when not to say ‘I love you’ and ‘I miss you’. Don’t say those words if you don’t mean it because it makes people hope that you really do even if you don’t. I told him I just want some boundaries. He was okay with that. I’m okay with it. Then we’re good. That’s all there is to it.

I was telling him in my email that I feel alone. I’m not saying it’s because I’m not getting calls from him or something. Partly, yes, it adds up to the feeling but most of it is all me. I am the one responsible for feeling this so I have no one but myself to blame for this. I just wanted him to know how I felt because at this moment, he’s the only one I have that I can vent out on.

I was watching Dear John awhile ago.

Weird, that it just popped into my head that I wanted to watch it. To give you some history about myself. I was once a US Marine girlfriend. A couple of years ago. I was still in a relationship with the Marine when Dear John came out. I never dared watch the movie because I know I will feel miserable. My relationship with him was on and off. Until I finally decided to cut all the ties.

I bought a dvd of Dear John. I watched it earlier and there. It hit me. I saw myself in the exact predicament that the girl in the movie was. The Long Distance Relationship turmoil.

Being in love with my ex was the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me. It was true love. Distance did not matter. I was loyal to him. When we were together, it was pure love but I had doubts because everything was a secret. He had a lot of secrets from me.

Watching Dear John made me realize that he just did what he did. I would not understand how his life worked so he never did bother to explain much. It’s only now that I learned to appreciate what exactly he was doing.

I realize why it never worked-out. My ex was dedicated to his job. He would die for the country. Just as John Tyree was. We love each other but US being together was just a mere fantasy.

That’s why I cried when I watched the film. I saw myself in that situation. A lot of people cannot understand how hard it is to be in a relationship with a soldier.

After our Agave night, we went to Happy Lemon....O dear Lord, I am now a Happy Lemon convert....it's the best thing ever created. Happy Lemon is synonymous to Serenitea but not really synonymous because it serves a far better array of drinks. They have plenty of drinks and when you read the selection, it actually looks weird because combinations are weird but it tastes sooooo good. You have to try it yourself.

I tried their best seller, the Cacao with Rock Salt and it was sooooooo yummy :)

I love NYX simply because the quality is similar to M.A.C. only that it's cheaper :) I'm Cheap! I know! I’m talking to a friend right now coz she learned that I’m a Psychology graduate…She was asking me if I knew some psychiatrist who can help her friend coz her friend is in a depressed state…the friend and the boyfriend broke-up and her friend was showing suicidal tendencies…

I actually stopped my MA in Counseling coz I’m too emotional. I can’t bear the problems of other people when I hear them. Instead of helping them, I get dragged into this emotional spiral…it’s exhausting to absorb negative things…physically and mentally exhausting

I’ll just help her find a psychiatrist…LOL :)) the case of her friend is for the professional…LOL :))

I woke up just this morning and I remembered my dream

Dream

I can't remember exactly what was going on in the dream but the place was similar to our house. I was with a group of people. We were mobile. Like we went to a school (it felt like it was St.Paul) and then we went to a room similar to the room in the house. And then I can remember, I was with helpers. we had food inside the room. I can remember it was chicken and pizza. I saw my laptop in my dream. Same state, it was broken but it was open. And then we ate the food. Then I can remember one of them wanted to watch a channel but the cable wasn't plugged so I plugged the cable and they watched. It was a weird dream coz I know we were doing something important in the dream but I can't really remember what. I can also remember like we were cleaning up the toys and stuff coz there were plenty of toys inside the room.

This was my dream yesterday. I kinda jot my dreams a bit late coz I've been doing a lot of things lately but I'll always find time to do it...hahaha :) It makes me learn more about myself if I do so...

My Dream:

The scenario of the dream was I was at work. The place was synonymous to theclassroom I had during the previous years, only bigger. I remember seeing the attendance chart and there were tons of kids coming inside the room. The feeling in my dream was I was overwhelmed and anxious because I was alone and there were like 25 children inside the classroom. And then the kids were putting their names in the attendance chart. Something like that.

I’ll blog about my dream last May 24….it’s weird that I’m re-calling all the dreams and it feels like they are nightmares of some sort.

So the dream, as I recall, I was running from something…I can’t remember much of the dream but I felt fear in the dream. Then I ended up in a penthouse type of place. There was a party of some sort. Sort of like a fashion show. Some girl was trying to tell me something. All of a sudden, there was a commotion because someone lit up a fire of some sort on the cake…like a bomb or a sparkler near the gifts and I was panicking. And then in the dream, I remember, I was trying to run away…I was going to a fire exit or I was just hiding or running away from the scene…I ended up getting stuck in a small place and then I woke-up

I've been feeling on the low lately and to cheer me up, I've been looking for wedding gowns. I just love the idea of weddings. It's every girl's dream. I've always wanted a vintage wedding. I don't know. I just like it traditional like that coz it's classy and all. I saw this very very nice wedding gown and when I get married, I want mine to be like this:

I fell in love with this gown...it's nice and simple but very classy. I really want the gown to be 'lace-y' coz lace is romantic.

Of course, with my age, most of my friends are already getting married. Isis and I had this conversation over this gown that really made my day.

We've been friends since college. I look up to Isis. She's a leo and she stands up to the zodiac sign. Masarap magmahal pero nakakatakot magalit. Actually, takot ako sakanya nung college coz she has this strong personality. Naging close na lang kami nung naging girlfriend na siya ni Chino...lol si Chino talaga una ko naging kaibigan, why? kasi siya yung partner ko sa PE Dance! Jay and I were talking awhile ago….I missed him a lot. It’s actually the first time we talked ever since we got back together. Him being deployed in Afghan is really hard for me. Unlike when he was in Guam, he had a lot of free time but now, I rarely get to talk to him and I was really happy when I did.

but

We kinda got into an argument….silly stuff, nothing serious and it’s really childish. He likes to irritate me. I don’t know why. When he was still courting me way back when, he was like that. It gives him joy that I get pissed-off.

Anyways, its not much of an ordeal….petty stuff. I just got jealous coz he was joking me he had this secretary lol. Of course I’d get pissed-off…who wouldn’t?!

Jay and I first got together in 2008. We separated because it was hard for me. The long distance relationship and him in the US marines. I wasn’t used to this kind of setup. we broke-off 2009. A miracle of some sort happened just this month. April 8, 2011, we got back together and words cannot convey how I feel about it. He was always my love and would forever be my love.

I promised to the person above that if I were given the second chance to be with him…this time, no matter how difficult it maybe, I’ll never let go.

I hate it when people always think of what others might think of them....I mean like, who cares what others think? For as long as you know you're doing it right, then f*ck them...Unless you're guilty of something then I can't blame you.

You don't need to over-analyze things coz over-analyzing would lead to anxiety. Be in the 'here and now' because now matters most. You always live in the shadow, how would you ever be happy? Realize that happiness dwells in you. Do not rely on others for you to be happy. Happiness comes from within.

Obstacles are natural. Take it as a challenge and do what you think is right. God gave you a brain so utilize it. My words are harsh because life is harsh. Even when you were born, your mom and yourself, you were both on 50-50 life line when she was giving birth. So don't be b*tchy about things. Reality is harsh so suck it in.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. You're still alive, so celebrate it. Be happy that you are coz not everyone is given the chance to live. Your problems are tini-tiny compared to others so don't come complaining and yakking about things. Sometimes that's the problem....we complain a lot. We forget to be grateful that we're given the chance to live. We complain and complain and complain and not be satisfied about life.

I just want everyone to know that life is awesome. It depends on your own outlook. If you don't change your outlook then you'll forever be miserable....

Wala lang....I just want to post this for the world to know. Who would have thought we'll end up like this? After all these years, I've never imagined we'll be back together. The most unbelievable things happen in an instant. I want you to know....it's always been you love. Ganun pala yun....the more you deny something, the more it shows. At first, I kept on denying things....like I was okay, I can do without you...Sure, nabuhay naman ako but it felt like I kept on messing up. One thing lead to another...

It was always you that I love. I mean, there are tons of men but I kept on looking for you. They weren't you. The day I emailed you. I just wanted to cry. Wala na talaga akong pakealam kung may girlfriend ka na or what. I just need you. I need you and I need to hear you. Yun lang naisip ko that time. I wasn't expecting the response that I got from you. It shocked me....I was expecting a cold person. Inaanticipate ko na tlga to hear sermons - parang yung pag nangagalaiti ka dati...

Who would've thought? All I know is that I love you. I love you dearly and I want them to know that I do. I am blessed for having you. Like what you said, despite all that happened in the past, we remained good friends. If you really were mad at me, you wouldn't reply to my message, but you did. It goes both ways. Maybe we were too young back then. This time, I hope we'll make things work.

I'll try my best to keep up with you. I'll support you in everything. If you have a problem, tell me and if I have a problem, I'll tell you. Let's not sleep on important matters. Let's try our best to talk everyday. Just update each other on what's happening and most importantly, to tell you everyday how much I love you. A year has gone without me saying that to you. I need a lot of catching up to do...lol :)
